Delivery Charges.
Please take into consideration that many of these candles are weighty (i.e jar candles) and larger than standard parcels (i.e baskets) which is why the postage costs are set as listed below. UK : Delivery charges are based on the value of your order. Orders totalling up to £9.99 - a postage fee of £3.50
Orders between £10.00 and £24.99 - a postage fee of £4.50
Orders between £25.00 and £39.99 - a postage fee of £6.95
Orders over £39.99 - a postage fee of £7.95
The order total is the total cart value BEFORE delivery costs are added.
Delivery methods.
For UK Deliveries we use either Royal Mail First or Second Class, always with recorded delivery requiring a signature. Larger items like baskets may be sent via courier due to size.
Packaging.
All deliveries will be securely packaged, and should arrive in first class condition. We do recycle packaging, please do not be offended if you receive your parcel in a re-used jiffy or box, we are trying to help the environment and reduce waste.
Delivery Times.
Delivery would normally be from stock. However, if an item is out of stock we will notify you by email and agree alternative arrangements before any order is posted. On occaision we will make the candles fresh from order, so please allow one working day for this. We aim to post all orders within 48 hours of being received and UK customers should receive their purchases within 5 working days. Delivery to non-UK destinations may take longer, however, all customers will be notified as soon as their order has been dispatched. We will keep customers fully informed at all times as to the status of their order.
Returns
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, i.e. the item is faulty, or it is not what you expected you may return the item to us unused in its original condition within 7 days for a prompt replacement, exchange or refund.
The cost of the delivery will be deducted from the refunded amount. The customer is responsible for postage for any returned items. We strongly recommend that the customer obtain proof of postage for any returned item(s).
Fourteen Candles accept no responsibility for any injury arising from the use of any supplied products, especially arising from faulty or defective goods, or for any improper or inappropriate use of any product, or from allergies or adverse reactions. We strongly recommend that you read our Safety guidelines on how to use a candle to prevent any accidents or injury.
Fourteen Candles also cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivery due to postal strikes, an increase in seasonal demands or the carrier company being unable to deliver due to no one being available to sign for ordered parcel or any other conditions which are outside our control.
